
METRO BOSTON BOOKSTORE DAY 2019
BOOKSTORE TROLLEY TOUR
Choose from two routes and celebrate Independent Bookstore Day with a trolley tour to 7 different Boston-area indies. Riders will have twenty minutes to browse each shop and participate in their unique Independent Bookstore Day celebrations before heading to their next bookstore.
Tours begin at 10:00 am and last until approximately 2:00 pm. Tours begin and end at the same store.
Route A: Porter Square Books (start), Book Ends, Belmont Books, Harvard Book Store, Trident Booksellers & Cafe, I AM Books, and MIT Press Bookstore
Route B: Brookline Booksmith (start), Children's Book Shop Newtonville Books, New England Mobile Book Fair, Wellesley Books, Blue Bunny Books & Toys, and Papercuts JP
You will receive more details specific to chosen route closer to the event.

Where do I buy tickets?

Do I need to print my tickets?
Nope!
Can I bring my child?
YES, but keep in mind the trolley route is about 5 hours long. You will need to purchase a ticket for a child of any age.
Is there a lunch stop along the route?
NO. However, snacks are allowed on the trolleys, and many bookstores are located next to a coffee shop. Remember that you only have 20 minutes per stop!
NO alcohol is allowed on the trolleys.
Tickets are non-refundable.
